Hello Anna! Your work is beautiful and I was hoping that you would enter the online exhibition Ephemeral Pleasures. Your work could be featured for an entire month on Crafthaus for all to see!
Thanks and I hope to see your work soon.

Sounds great, glad you like it there. I'm still here in NB, but I haven't seen anyone from school really - no surprise there...I'm not exactly a social butterfly! I'm working 2 part-time jobs, I'll finish out the year living here in NB, & then see where I'll go from there (to where, I really don't know yet!).

Congrats on your artist residency - What is the OCAC? Has it been a good experience for you?

Thank you for your nice comments. I find many people I speak to who work on jewelry scale have a childhood memory of becoming obsessed with some small thing that pulled them in and induced wonderment. I am hedging toward larger scale work to 1) get out of my comfort zone, 2) to balance the focus from body oriented.

I can definitely see your pieces in wearable scale.

Hi,
Are your wall pieces (white & red) hollow too? There is something powerful about the profusion of the elements amassed together in your work.
Not to mention the shear hard work of felting! Great job.

Thank you so much, Kristina! Welcome to Crafthaus. Maybe we'll get a chance to do a small trade before you go?

Call for artists....

"Behind the Brooch"

I have always thought that the back of a jewelry piece is as important as the front. If you feel the same way, consider sending images of the front and backside of your brooches to Lorena Angulo asap. Lorena is looking for images to place in a future crafthaus online exhibition!
