Hey there, Anna Lindsay,

Finally took care of business here.  Now I've got to not neglect posting and my personal page design.

I hope you are doing well. The new website looks great.  I'll give it a more detailed look at some point soon.  I'm presently trying to sort a bunch of that sort of admin myself so it is a little inspiring to see others doing well at it.

I've shiny things to make for clients waiting so I'll get to it.  Wanted to say hello and chat again soon.

Cheers,

D

Hello Anna,

Welcome to crafthaus, the network for fine craft artists and those who support them! I am very glad you joined us! Your crafthaus membership is valid through March 15, 2013.

Please look around and add your thoughts to the groups, blogs and discussions. Crafthaus is a participatory sport!

Please note that ALL images sent to the website editor are vetted to assure a measure of overall quality control. Unlike other image sharing websites, crafthaus is not a "free-for-all". Our members present their work in front of an educated and critical audience (their peers,) so the photos have to be GREAT. Our goal is to show our members' work in the best possible light. From the many images received daily, we aim to post as many as possible. Crafthaus heartily encourages comments from the membership, however, with regard to photos posted or not, we have a strict "NO WHINING" policy in effect!

If there are ever any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me via crafthauseditor@live.com anytime, I will do my best to be of help.

I hope you will enjoy being with this network, and will find the exchanges interesting and fun.

Again: Welcome !

SNAG Toronto part 3

I come from a very different background than most at the conference. I apprenticed with a self taught flutemaker. After 3 years, the only CV I left with was a flute I made that got me hired by a Boston company. I designed my own flute from experience and imagination. To this day my work has always been my only resume. At the SNAG conference almost everyone had a college degree in the arts. Whenever a speaker was introduced, their education highlights were listed along with the schools they were…See More
