I am a person without so much expectation, but I am easy moved by every sensitive presentation, especially the Lifetime Achievement Award. The presentation by Fred Woell was so warmer that every attendee stood up few times and applauded. Personally,…

The Heat is on- May 23th

I am sorry I could not blog these entries until today, but I have just now gotten access to the internet. The heat is really on, with 105 degree in Phoenix. I have never been to Phoenix and my trip was exhausting, but I was excited about everything,…

A Trip to SOFA New York

I visited to SOFA Chicago in 2009 and I was impressed by a lot of artists and their works. This was my first time in SOFA New York. I was expecting a different experience, but I did enjoy this trip. Comparing its scale to SOFA Chicago, SOFA New…

you're not going to learn anything from me.  i could learn tons from you though.  i sort of muddle my way through every piece i make. i have no formal training at all.  i've seen your work!  you should apply.  i think you don't realize how good you are and shouldn't sell yourself short.  just remember one thing, bifei.  the worst that can happen is they say no and you are no worse off than where you started.  nothing ventured, nothing gained.  these are wise words.  i'm going to tell jennifer to talk you into applying.  now watch out for the big gun.  you will be at SNAG this year?
