I am a full-time studio artist based in Chicago. I have had jewelry and enameled panels exhibited in Barcelona, Spain at Center Catala d’Artesania, Ueno Royal Museum in Tokyo, Japan and at Sofa Chicago. My midwest philosophy is that hard work does pay off over time.
My previous career in graphic design ranged from design consulting for new products traded on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, to creating logos for various pharmaceuticals. My graphic design work has been published in the American Center for Design Top 100 Show, HOW International Design Annual, Print Design Annual, USA Design Annual and the Strathmore permanent gallery collection.
I enjoy the exploration of making art. I find it rewarding to inspire others to create art. I was fortunate to be chosen for a teaching appointment at the renowned Escuela Llotja, one of Picasso’s study locations in Barcelona.
My other interest are hiking, cooking, understanding nature, sculpture, oil and encaustic painting, drawing, handbuilding porcelain, photographing professionally and just for fun.

Thanks Christine! I would love to meet you at the ACC show, but I don't think I'm going to be around. I will be moving most likely to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for graduate school. Your piece that is being featured is wonderful. Congrats!
