hi gary. i'd like to make powder coating an option for my students in an upcoming assignment. do you have any advice about where to purchase a sampling of colors, techniques for success and/or handouts. i remember that you had worked through trail and error to create a system that works really well for you. i'd appreciate any advice that you can give me. thank you!

Gary, I don't remember where I had seen your kinetic works before Crafthaus but I certainly remembered them.  They look amazingly well made.  The turned and colored handles compliment the stucture and gearing and make a great pairing.  And what function could be more important than eskimo kissing?  Super Work!

Hi Gary Please look at our calls for Crafthaus artists-

Earthly Pleasures http://crafthaus.ning.com/group/crafthausexhibition/forum/topics/open-call-earthly-pleasures

Me, Myself and I will be our 7th show http://crafthaus.ning.com/group/crafthausexhibition/forum/topics/open-callme-myself-and-i

Sitting Pretty Part 2 is what the exhibition will look like http://crafthaus.ning.com/group/sittingprettytheartsittingpretty

A show at Crafthaus has more of an audience then a gallery and offers a permanent stage to the world. We do love gallery shows, but at Crafthaus submission is easy, doesn't cost anything for members. In addition to our calls there are others you may be interested in.

We try to make the submission process as painless as possible! If you have any questions please let us know.
Regards,
Glen & Marie

Call for artists....

"Behind the Brooch"

I have always thought that the back of a jewelry piece is as important as the front. If you feel the same way, consider sending images of the front and backside of your brooches to Lorena Angulo asap. Lorena is looking for images to place in a future crafthaus online exhibition!
