JUNK: rubbish to gold

JUNK: rubbish to gold playfully explores ideas of exchange, bartering, gathering, earning and giving by putting on display the entire process of creating the ‘work-of-art’.All works available to bid on via a silent auction right NOW.     Partnering charities supplied the masses of JUNK jewellery (750kgs in total). A Glimpse of Thai Craft-Based Contemporary Art

Even though Thailand is well-known for its craft and mass-produced decorative products, its craft-based contemporary art is relatively unknown to both local and international markets. Therefore it was my great pleasure to be able to let the world see the kind of craft-based contemporary art created by Thai artists within the past few years.  In this exhibition three fields of craft-based contemporary art are presented:  ceramics (4), jewelry (3) and wood (1).  I hope you enjoy and appreciate…See More

Many of us struggle with HUNGERS, and yearn for the pleasure of food, love, possessions, control, sex or P O W E R.The works selected for this exhibition offer a wide range of ideas and images which go beyond food.See More

Behind the Brooch

This exhibition focuses on a side of the brooch we usually do not pay much attention to: the back side. Our first look is naturally always trained at the front, but when we do take the time to look at the back of a brooch, it will oftentimes reveal a surprising aspect for us, a delightful little secret. With this exhibition, I would like to let you in on that secret, something that typically only the maker and the wearer know about. I hope you will enjoy with me this selection of brooches by…See More
