-South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. I have been at SCGSAH since 2001 teaching Metals and Jewelry and team teaching Bronze Casting, 3-D Design and Junior Sculpture. I started teaching in 1993. I've taught at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia ,PA as an instructor in the Foundations Department and the Pre-College Program . I also taught Metals and Jewelry at Rowan University.
I am a .... Example: Student, Maker, Educator, etc.
Most of my work focuses on designs influenced by natural
forms. Things such as a tangle of vines or a vertebra have always fascinated me. These are many times simple components whose combinations allow for seemingly complex structures. I try to follow this same idea when constructing my own work.
