- -South Carolina Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities. I have been at SCGSAH since 2001 teaching Metals and Jewelry and team teaching Bronze Casting, 3-D Design and Junior Sculpture. I started teaching in 1993. I've taught at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia ,PA as an instructor in the Foundations Department and the Pre-College Program . I also taught Metals and Jewelry at Rowan University.

- Most of my work focuses on designs influenced by natural
forms. Things such as a tangle of vines or a vertebra have always fascinated me. These are many times simple components whose combinations allow for seemingly complex structures. I try to follow this same idea when constructing my own work.

For the next 13 months we'll discuss the trials, triumphs, and tribulations of exhibiting in art shows as emerging artists and established artists. Exhibition coverage will be balanced with tips on how to strategically build a legacy over a length of time, in a way that makes sense to your individual goals as an artist and maker.
