Hi Lauren,

You can post these calls anytime you want either in the discussions or into the blogs no difference. I was contacted about this opportunity a short while ago and already listed the call in the CALLS FOR ARTIST headline tab :-)

Best, Brigitte

Yes- the rings are all pinhole cameras.  They are at Quirk Gallery currently.  The pendant image is also a pinhole image in enamel of Cortona, Italy.  Thanks for looking at my work, your new posts look really interesting too! Hope all is well.

thank you thank you lauren! that means a lot coming from you...
With my last body of work I'd been exploring how educational reform from the early 1900's has found its way into school culture today...I found a lot of it has German roots..most notably the Bauhaus and Kindergarten...To me the language is very direct and has a lot of simplicity...one exception and my favorite word so far is is the word for wrench...schraubenschluessel...:)....Thesis is finally set - Jan 24 2011!!...I hope you are well in TX ! keep in touch...

SNAG Toronto part 4

I'll leave my Toronto report with a few notes about the conference lectures and presentations. I'd have to say that there certainly was a mosaic of diversity in the 3+ days at the Royal York Hotel. From Damian Skinner's stoic keynote series on the jewelry making/marketing universe in his musical New Zealand accent, through a series of very short "rapid-fire" presentations by a wide variety of artists, to the Professional Development Seminar that lashed the artists and their works to the…See More
