Finland and Pot Viapori!

This spring brings new opportunities.  In August of 2013 I visited both Estonia and Helsinki seeking out opportunities and meeting many wonderful artists.  By invitation, I will be working at Pot Viapori , www.viapori.fi/, in May and June. Soile Passonen  has been so gracious to offer up space in her studio for me.See More

Great, I'll potentially be in touch soon. I need to gauge how your work would fit into the overall chemistry of the season planned thus far. Either way, very good to meet you and keep up the beautiful work.

Thanks Lenni. FYI, I am always looking to expand TCC's rolodex of possible instructors, so if you would ever consider teaching a weekend or week-long class let me know and we can chat about it.

Best,AMK

Your work is inspired. Looks like the bark could just peel off in my hand.

I am extremely impressed with the amount of control you have achieved with your firing process. The coloration and effect is so consistent. These pieces really look like birch. I was convinced on first viewing that they were birch. Just beautiful work.
