- I am inspired by the passage of time as it relates to the lingering memory of the present and attempt to capture these ideas on cloth through abstract portraits of a moment. Photographs of plants carefully stitched to linen, silhouettes of aging flowers, expressive hands engaged in routine tasks, all become the subjects of these textile investigations. The delicate repetitive stitches create shadows and textures and allude to the marking of time.
