- I am interested in jewelry as a form of non-verbal communication. I work with discarded tin cans and select a particular image, color or text to become the focal point. These vignettes hint at a story. A memento mori inspired piece reminds the wearer of her own mortality, while a portrait brooch honors a loved one.
My jewelry is meant to be worn, but may be a component of a sculptural object created both to contain and display.
Join me this summer in the classroom! I will be teaching at two of my favorite places, Arrowmont school of Arts and Crafts and Penland school of Crafts

Just trying to keep up with things up here. We're putting a huge graden, raising chickens and continuing to fwork on the house, oh yeah and that whole gallery/ professor/ artist thing. How are you?
