Profile Information

Place of Work ? Example: Studio, College, Gallery, Museum, ...)
my jewelry studio in Charlottesville, VA
I am a .... Example: Student, Maker, Educator, etc.
I am a studio jeweler making work by commission and to sell in stores and at shows. I'm infinitely inspired by water and my work reflects a balanced but assymetrical aesthetic that I find most true to my own nature. I offer my Water Worn Collection in gold and silver while my newest line combines gold and a lesser known metal called niobium with diamonds. My commissioned pieces are done in whatever metal my client enjoys and often combine recycled metals and sentimental stones. I love what I do, waking up everyday and knowing I'm headed for the studio is still so exciting.

Dear Martha:

Welcome to crafthaus ! I am very glad you joined us.

There is always a lot of activity on the site, so it would be great if you would upload some more images of your beautiful artwork to crafthaus. Many of your fellow artists will be getting to see what you are doing and I am sure you will get some great feedback.

Please feel free to add your comments to the blog/discussion topics that are already posted. Of course, if there is something else you'd much rather talk about, please add that to the site so that the rest of us can chime in.

I really hope you will enjoy being with this network and find the exchanges interesting and fun. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it, for sure.

If there are ever any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me anytime. I will do my best to be of help.

Again: Welcome !

"This looks like it could be interesting; one of my favorite topics. Not much happening so far. I have been entering exhibitions for the last 3-4 years with success and failure. It's a difficult thing to figure out."
