I have been creating jewelry and objects using precious metals and semiprecious stones for over ten years, having trained at the Southwest School of Art and Craft in San Antonio, Texas. I am influenced by the colors and textures either inherent in the materials I use or created by my hand. I feel that jewelry is art that reflects the mood, tastes, and personality of the wearer.

Melanie Sweet commented on Lorena Angulo's group Behind the Brooch
"Really wonderful collection!  On many of these pieces, I couldn't decide which I liked better - the back or the front. It's almost like a secret between the artist and the wearer.  Thanks for putting this together, Lorena!"

I hope you will enjoy with me this selection of brooches by…See More
