Michael, your wood hoard reminds me of my Dad, who carves song birds, waterfowl and fish. He has a stash of wood that he couldn't get through if he lived to be 300 years old!

Are they purely decorative, or do you hone them to a scary level of sharpness?
Hmmm well, I guess I don't have a forge and from that book I read, It's really over the top for me to build one..not only that but it's against code here:))hahaha I did see somewhere some Aussies were making the blades out of pmc paper, so I thought about checking into that. I don't think fine silver could hold up, so I guess it would be ceremonial...but that's ok. Any ideas?

I have been doing silversmithing for 35 years, and have been a custom knifemaker for 7. I made hand crafted,one of a kind unique knives, combing artistic elements with functionality. Recently I've been experimenting with making jewelry with anodized Titanium and Niobium.
