Nicolette Absil received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Studio Art, with a concentration in Metals/Jewelry and a minor in Art History from Rowan University. Nicolette has been named one of the top five finalists for the Halstead Grant in 2013, a Saul Bell Award Finalist, and is a juried member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen.
My work focuses on process and using enameling, the ancient art of fusing glass to metal, in a more contemporary manner. Nature serving as my inspiration, I illustrate serene and delicate imagery that I fuse into enamel.
