A little confused as I just came across what seemed like an invitation to Signature Part Two, Is that a personal invite, a large Call, a message gone astray (?)... and I don't remember what Signature Part One was!

And one more question, is it too late?

Pat - thanks - I'll be in Maine for a month - but won't be there for the conference- I've been invited to another event that is on at the same time.  I'll be up at the Centre for Furniture. Craftsmanship for a month as a studio fellow - cant wait - a month of studio time set aside to explore new ideas - such a luxury. the other event is in Pennsylvania - so I guess I'll fly in to the east coast. - plans are still sketchy and depend  on ongoing fund raising. After Maine I will be making my way up to Saskatchewan.
Be great to meet you in person if there is an opportunity.

Interviewing NCECA 2013 Emerging Artist Linda Swanson

NCECA 2013 Emerging Artist Linda Swanson makes us think about ceramic materials in a new and dynamic way.  Her installation, site specific, fired and unfired work all has an emphasis on time, material and transformation.  Linda generously shared her time and thoughts with me about her current studio practice and the path that has led her there.  I hope you enjoy this interview with Linda Swanson.  You can see more of her work at: …See More
