I am a .... Example: Student, Maker, Educator, etc.
I design and build one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture and accessories, primarily on a commission basis.
I think of furniture as clothing for your home.
My work was recently published in "Fine Woodworking, Design Book Eight", Lark Books "500 Tables" and "Studio Furniture" from Schiffer Publishing.
I also teach woodworking at Red Rocks Community College School of Fine Woodworking.

A little confused as I just came across what seemed like an invitation to Signature Part Two, Is that a personal invite, a large Call, a message gone astray (?)... and I don't remember what Signature Part One was!
Pat - thanks - I'll be in Maine for a month - but won't be there for the conference- I've been invited to another event that is on at the same time. I'll be up at the Centre for Furniture. Craftsmanship for a month as a studio fellow - cant wait - a month of studio time set aside to explore new ideas - such a luxury. the other event is in Pennsylvania - so I guess I'll fly in to the east coast. - plans are still sketchy and depend on ongoing fund raising. After Maine I will be making my way up to Saskatchewan.
Be great to meet you in person if there is an opportunity.

Once used to seduce the consumer, I take this now taboo subject matter and place it over the belt as a means of advertising and seduction of both the product and body. This reminds my audience of the cultural change that has evolved into the disapproval of tobacco usage and advertising.”

I witnessed a bunch of troublesome ‘discussions’ this past week. Not on crafthaus and not directed at me personally, but troublesome nevertheless. They also weren’t real discussions either, as in: a respectful exchange of opinions where one side hears the other out. It…
