Dear Rachel:

Welcome to crafthaus, the network for artists, craftsmen/women ! I am very glad you joined us !

Please add thoughts to the blogs and discussion forums that are already posted. Of course, if there is something else you'd much rather talk about, please add that to the site so that the rest of us can chime in.

I really hope you will enjoy being with this network and find the exchanges interesting and fun. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it, for sure.

Please note that crafthaus is a fully member-financed website, meaning that a small annual fee is involved in being a member ($ 20/yr or $35/2 yrs). You will find all the necessary information on how to go about this in the FAQs section of the site. Your membership fee is due July 15 and is payable through paypal (preferred,) US check or credit card.

Finally, if there are ever any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me anytime. I will do my best to be of help.

Again: Welcome and enjoy !

Brigitte Martin

Okay, I'm better organized now. I'm going to submit a series of blogs over the next few days on the SNAG show. They'll all tie together in the end. The first point for me to make is that Brigitte Martin is a real sweetheart! It was a treat to meet her and catch hold of some of her enthusiasm. If you get a chance to meet her I highly recommend it.Alright, here we go...I was born in Toronto and spent 14 of my first 21 years bere before I moved to New England. 290° - The first of the Scottish degree shows

It is that time of year again, when the degree shows in Scotland all kick off. As usual, the roll is started by Dundee's Duncan of Jordanstone College of  Art & Design - DJCAD for short.
