Profile Information

Where do you live ? City, State and Country
Bronx, NY
Place of Work ? Example: Studio, College, Gallery, Museum, ...)
Production Metal Shop
I am a .... Example: Student, Maker, Educator, etc.
i believe i'm in a period of transition. as I move around and see the things to see, I find that my former work of making furniture seems to fall a little flat as compared to my intentions for it. i am a maker of things, which will never change. my respect for the weight and authenticity of the handmade will never change. however, lately my coercion has turned inward which has led to both a bettering of my immediate surroundings, and an insulation from the rest of the world. just furniture isn't applicable for me anymore. as i am now, i have reserved to making only for friends and family, never for sale. i freelance a bit, but only my drawings and thoughts are exchanged. my website serves as a record of what i have done, and i need to add a few more recent things, but most of those thoughts are gone. i'm focusing on a huge project of my own living space in an attempt to emerge with reconstituted purpose; but for now, i am resigned to observation-in-waiting. more will come soon...

"This looks like it could be interesting; one of my favorite topics. Not much happening so far. I have been entering exhibitions for the last 3-4 years with success and failure. It's a difficult thing to figure out."
