Nourished by explorations in glass, jewelry and photography, my artistic process is based on exploration. My earlier experiments have all left their mark, guiding my current production and my creative process.
Macro photography inspires me a lot. I like when people come closer to explore the depth of detail in my creations. I am fascinated by the miniature world, a passion that has led me to jewellery. Like photography, this discipline gives me the power to freeze time, to capture precise moments so they can endure forever. Thus, the first objective of my creations: to catch the eye.
I cut and design each of the glass pieces to fuse them together. It gives me the opportunity to insert colors on my creation. I like to use transparent glass that can show skin part and provides a lightness look to the jewellery. Also, I like to use dichroic glass. The characteristic of this glass is that the transmitted color and the reflected one change with the view angle. It is a vibrant and luminous glass that brings a mysterious look to the pieces.
