Kristi Zevenbergen said… - I didn't know you moved away so far. New York! Awesome. I love this Alfred Hitchcock work. Also awesome! I quit teaching at Pratt last January. I don't go down at all anymore. Making my work and teaching in a program at Edmonds CC a bit. Doing private tutoring and small workshops at my house/studio. I am working tax season with my husband. It leaves me the rest of the year 9.5 months to focus on jewelry (and my other commitments). It's a good chunk for jewelry - but there never seems to be enough time to shake it all out of my head! I miss you too. I was so happy to see you here. I have lots of work piled up inside me, but I got an invitation to a show in San Diego that I had to focus on for next May. The work needs to be done now - or it won't be done in time after tax season. I'm happy for the show - and now that I'm almost done with it I can begin to focus on the work I WAS going to make this fall. Thank God for my journals and sketchbooks! Love you Miss Awesomeness.

Please add your thoughts to the blogs and discussion forums that are already posted. Of course, if there is something else you'd much rather talk about, please add that to the site so that the rest of us can chime in.
I really hope you will enjoy being with this network, and will find the exchanges interesting and fun. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it, for sure.
Please note that crafthaus is both a fully edited and a member-financed website, meaning that a small annual fee ($20/yr or $35/2yrs) is involved in being a member here. You will find all the necessary information on how to go about this in the FAQs section of the site. Your membership fee is due on or before February 15, 2010 and is payable through paypal (preferred,) US check or credit card.
All images sent to the website will be reviewed to assure some measure of overall quality control. Crafthaus is not a "free-for-all". Members present their work in front of an educated and critical audience (their peers,) so the images have to be GREAT in both content and photo quality. From the many images received daily, we try to post as many as possible.
Crafthaus does not support any kind of commercial solicitation of our membership. Anyone sending out communication of that kind will be suspended from the site.
Finally, if there are ever any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me via crafthauseditor@live.com anytime. I will do my best to be of help.

For the next 13 months we'll discuss the trials, triumphs, and tribulations of exhibiting in art shows as emerging artists and established artists. Exhibition coverage will be balanced with tips on how to strategically build a legacy over a length of time, in a way that makes sense to your individual goals as an artist and maker.
Join us each month! There will be surprises around every corner, with photos, videos, SNAG conference coverage, and occasional interviews by rising artists!
