Last week, before running off to Santa Fe to teach, I launched a Kickstarter project. My goal is to raise funds for supplies for a chainmaille wedding dress. I make chainmaille jewelry for a living and chainmaille clothing for fun, and this is the next epic project that I'd like to work on. The dress will be made from nearly 90,000 rings, with another 10,000 rings for a veil, each individually woven together with just two pairs of pliers.
