Seeking an artist for an exhibition on Invisible Disabilities in Atlanta "Invisible: VisAble" curated by Leisa Rich

I am the curator of a wonderful exhibition on "hidden" or Invisible Disabilities, to be held in Atlanta, Georgia in April 2015, at Mason Murer Gallery. It is sponsored by VSA, the arts for disabilities in Atlanta. Artists so far are from Canada, the U.S. and South Africa. This is going to be an amazing opportunity for artists to showcase work about physical and mental challenges they face, and that most people do not think about!

Caught in the time warp of Art Versus Craft

We participate in a creative exercise related to EtsyMetal, a group of metalsmiths organized around Etsy. The exercise is called "Blog Carnival". Today, I want to share a couple of thoughts that may be  helpful to artists and makers. Of …

Tips for Enjoying an Art Studio Tour

Fall is the season of artists' Studio Tours. It gives each artist an opportunity to show his/her artistic productivity for the first three quarters of the year. (Yes, some artists do have quarterly action plans!) This is your opportunity to see them in their own creative environment where "the action" happens.
