Quiet as a Bird

I found this dead bird the other day and couldn't resist picking him (don't know the gender, thought of him as a he) up to draw in the park. It was the most surreal moment. I had been sketching ideas for a bird pendant as I have been feeling very 'fertile' lately and wanted to do a piece with eggs. Through to the final

As I mentioned in my blogger blog http://insidetheartisan.blogspot.com last month, I recently entered a couple of competitions and have just heard that my "remember the little things" bracelet has just got into the final of the Bead and Button competition. The first stage is showing photos of the piece, and the second phase is that I just sent the piece off to them!
