What's happening with Radical Jewelry Makeover - Santa Fe!

Right now we are working with the Santa Fe community to bring together student and professional jewelers for the October Makeover. We are re-designing our curriculum to more effectively bring participants up to speed on ethical practices and sourcing for jewelry. Pricing - how, when, why

recent musings.....i have been engaged most recently in repricing all of my work. i have given careful thought to this over the past couple of months & have come to realize that, in some cases, i was actually sellling my work at wholesale prices (or very close to it). so.....after some research (thanks, thomas mann), i have repriced every single item in my inventory. result - the retail price of most items has increased, from just a few dollars to as much as 30%, which is huge. those pieces… Continue

Spirals

The silver piece is how I figured out my pin catch on an open back before I jumped into it on the gold custom design. I have worked with fold-formed spirals on other pieces and still love the fluid quality.
