New Work from Jennifer Trask

Is it a neck piece or a sculpture? According to artist Jennifer Trask, it is both.

This new work is made of “antlers, found and re-purposed bone and ivory pieces, along with freshly carved deer and cow bone, fish fin, deer teeth, resin and a few diamonds tucked here and there. The ‘vines’ are directional, implying a growth pattern, and literally wrap back around on themselves.”…

A New Book from Kiff Slemmons

Kiff Slemmons and Arte Papel Oaxaca is a two volume set of books commemorating and celebrating twelve years of collaboration between the jeweler Kiff Slemmons and a paper making workshop in Vista Hermosa near Oaxaca in southern Mexico. The two volumes refer to two bodies of work. The first is a document of process and represents the work designed and produced by Kiff and the artisans. Nicole Polentas Coming to Loupe November 10th
