Marcy Neiditz - One Voice, Nine Plates

Many times, artists struggle with “their voice” and its development. Artists who are successful with this have the determination and focus to pursue a concept through its development. Now Marcy Neiditz does a variety of work, from very organic, abstracted sculptural pieces to functional plates, vessels and mugs. What you’ll notice is that the pieces in each series of her work have some common design elements. These elements are worked, honed, and pushed as the series is developed. Thus, we are showing nine of Neiditz’s plates which are part of a series to demonstrate how one artist takes a concept, its elements and develops them.
