Be Part of My Headlining Designer show at NY Fashion Week

Be part of my headlining designer show at NY Fashion Week!

I've been invited to be a headlining designer during a very special NY Fashion Week event in September and I want you to be part of the show!  Being one of the headliners means my jewelry collections are the focus of the presentation and will sashay down the runway on 15 models wearing little black dresses so the jewelry really POPS!!! Being a headliner at an international event like NY Fashion Week is a career making opportunity and a childhood dream come true, a dream that far too many said was impossible..... Being a headliner also means that there isn't a fellow designer to split the costs with this time around so I'm responsible for all of the expenses for my section of the show.

So, I've launched a 30-day Kickstarter campaign to help raise the funds needed to put on an AMAZING show and cover some of the costs of producing my brand new collection and a special lookbook.  My project rewards include special thank-you listings in my new lookbook, VIP tickets to NY Fashion Week, red carpet photos with me and some of my models, and the opportunity to be the first to purchase pieces hot off the runway and much, much more!!!

You can be part of my show by viewing my Kickstarter Campaign Page and Video, contributing my project and spreading the word via email, Facebook, and Twitter that you support my campaign.  Thanks so much for your support.  I couldn't have made it this far without you.

See you at the show!

Just $2745 and 9 days to go! I want all of you to receive the recognition you deserve for supporting my NYFW show which means I HAVE to reach my goal by 7/20 or nothing happens.http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1078504919/michelle-pajak-reynolds-nyfw-show-new-collection-a

While everyone was out enjoying July 4th BBQ and fireworks, I was in the studio working with these Czechoslovakian 20/0 beads from the 1800's. They'll be part of a gorgeous black agate necklace and bracelet set. There's about 50 beads per inch and they require a .010" sewing needle. I may go blind by the end of this project, but it will be worth it.

NYFW Kickstarter Day 11: $995 of $5000 goal.  Only 19 days left to raise an additional $4005.  Your pledge will help me and several other very talented women from NE Ohio (see previous comment) advance their careers and live out a childhood dream.  Thank you for your support.  http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1078504919/michelle-pajak-reyno...

Paying it forward...As part of my NY Fashion Week show, I'm bringing along some amazing local talent including models and fashion show manager/producer, Laura Zaleski of Zaleski Productions.  Your support of my project is helping these fantastic women live out their NYFW dream as well. Thank you.

It was three years ago today that I was downsized from my teaching job and now I'm a feature designer at a very special runway show during NY Fashion Week. This wouldn't have happened without all of the wonderful support of the Crafthaus Community. Check out the link below for all of the exciting details about my project and please support it , if you can. Thank you http://ning.it/M5TQaj

What Have I Been Up To?

Since returning from Istanbul, it has been non-stop in the workshop, preparing work for orders and making some new pieces too. I've sidelined a number of works-in-progress in order to get on with more pressing issues, so there are no updates on my Chanel-inspired piece or my tribute to Alexander McQueen, though I have progressed apace with my first foray into electronics in jewellery, "14th Century Nightlife" which I hope to finish finally this coming week after it sitting on my bench for…See More

290° - The first of the Scottish degree shows

It is that time of year again, when the degree shows in Scotland all kick off. As usual, the roll is started by Dundee's Duncan of Jordanstone College of  Art & Design - DJCAD for short. Regular readers of my blog will know that Dundee is my favourite Scottish city and has been for many, many years, so it is something of a surprise to realise that until last…See More
