MFA Student Interview Series | Call for Entry
Location: online, The MFA Guidebook for Studio Artists (Crafthaus blog)
Deadline: ongoing
Eligibility: open to all current MFA studio art students (second semester or later)
I created The MFA Guidebook for Studio Artists as a result of my own journey – from deciding to attend grad school through completing my program and beyond. Throughout the process I felt there was a lack of studio art-specific information online and, thus, decided to create a blog to address that need. I have researched and written on a variety of topics, and would now like to bring in new voices of current MFA students.
The MFA Student Interview Series is aimed at building a community and conversation among MFA students, sharing advice with prospective and current students, and providing a public forum to view student work. Participants will respond to a written interview – 8 open-ended prompts – and will share 3 images of their work. The interview and images will be posted on The MFA Guidebook for Studio Artists, to be shared with the Crafthaus community and accessible to the general public.
