The deadline for Screenplay entries has been extended from July 20th to August 1st.
Screenplay is an upcoming art exhibition which will feature the work of artists who share a common element in their work: wire mesh. More than ever, wire mesh (steel, copper, brass, aluminum) is becoming the medium of choice by a variety of artists including metalsmiths, textile artists, sculptors, book artists, painters, and mixed-media artists. The goal of this exhibition is to bring together work that exemplifies the innovative and diverse manipulation of this ordinary material. I'll leave my Toronto report with a few notes about the conference lectures and presentations. I'd have to say that there certainly was a mosaic of diversity in the 3+ days at the Royal York Hotel.
