Hello granny square, we love you! Gathering a wide range of influences to create a wearable, artisanal collection that embraces color, texture and playfulness, each piece is a labor of love for London, UK, based Designer Katie Jones.

Katie received an MA in Fashion Knitwear at Central Saint Martins under Louise Wilson in 2013 and subsequently set up her East London studio to teamwork with her mother, Annie, and right hand assistant, Sara Liz Marty. The group sources materials from Designer Surplus, factory seconds, textile waste and British made products, and the resulting collection is tailored around the available materials.

Embracing a philosophy centered around "making something beautiful from nothing" and consciously addressing issues of over-consumerism and resulting landfill, each piece is produced by hand using a range of labor- and detail intensive processes such as hand dying, crocheting, embroidery, deconstruction, unraveling, hand sewing, hand punched leather work and domestic machine knitting. The time to create a garment ranges from anywhere between ten to 100 hours per piece, every piece is unique.

The brand is currently stocked in London, China and Japan, and the collections have been featured in magazines such as Dazed and Confused, DNA, and Vice, along with features on Vogue.com and Stylebubble.
