Free at Last!

I just finished my Masters in the UK and have returned to Canada and I couldn't be happier! Not that I didn't love my Masters experience but working on my art and jewellery full time outside of school is exquisite!

I will be infusing plenty of energy into my online presence in the coming year so stay adrift with all the changes to my Crafthaus page and look for upcoming links to see more into my craft including my drawings, screen printing, wax carving, silver jewellery, art, sculpture and photography! So exciting. I will also be applying to exhibitions like mad so hopefully you can see my work in person too!

For now you can look forward to the group exhibition Paper or Plastic? at Luke and Eloy Gallery

Yaa my name is on the list! I am so proud.

Also I will be working on my Etsy page so any fellow etsiers let me know on comments or suggestions and I will do the same. :) www.ricksonjewellery.etsy.com

That’s all for now. I love being an entrepreneur!

Yes I am here now! I have to look for your post. I try to keep up with these things, but I think I need to change my email notifications with Crafthaus.

Your thoughts on hair sound very interesting! I've always been curious aobut how people deal with their bodies as they change.

Thanks for your congrats! I shall try to find your posting to properly respond. :)

Oh thanks Charlotte! You should definetly make a go at it. You can always get a part time job in retail or something just to have a steady invome, but I really think your attitude and your work would suit a small business, and you can do your more 'artsy' stuff in galleries and look for magazine coverage. I think it would go over very well in the fashion or jewellery industry. :)

I got some advice on some online storesfor jewellery and fashion from a client at the Showcase London show I did, but I haven't checked them out, so I will forward them on to you if they are any good. And of course I am an Etsy fanatic, so don't hesitate to ask advice, or check out what I am doing cause immitation is the finest form of flattery, and then I can return the favour if you get an etsy store. hehe. :)
