Interdisciplinary. Community. Advocacy. Humor.
No one understands the culture of craft better than the American Craft Council. A national, nonprofit educational organization, ACC has been shaping the discussion around craft for decades, serving as a chronicler and tastemaker through the bimonthly magazine American Craft, annual juried shows presenting artists and their work, through leadership conferences, awards for excellence, a research library, workshops and seminars.
As makers in our own right, Mohawk has taken pride in the craft of papermaking for nearly a century. Generations of fine papermakers have honed their craft in our mills in upstate New York, so we are endlessly inspired by the artistry of others and we’re proud to support and be a part of the craft movement. As like-minded supporters of the community, Mohawk believes making is the most fundamental expression of the human spirit, so we are proud to partner with the American Craft Council to support their mission.
