New SNAG program will benefit members

SNAG is launching a new program to promote members work.  This looks to be quite different than the tired old approach of a few images and a CV.  Anthony Tammaro is leading the program which will be unveiled at the conference.

Thea, the idea is to put the focus back on the work and the story behind the work-simply, clearly and in terms that create value and meaning for buyers.  Our end of the field has gotten lost. We produce highly creative intellectually challenging work and present it to potential buyers with no explanation whatsoever, or a CV in place of a narrative, or at best an artist statement that is so opaque or verbose as to be unintelligible. We want to reconnect our artists with the larger public.

The home page is a hoot. It displays member work based on an algorythem that analyzes a dynamic set of activity criteria. Basically, the page changes constantly based on the pulse of the Internet.
