General Description
The Textile Museum of Canada (TMC) is seeking a student for the dynamic and stimulating position of Curatorial Assistant – a key member of the TMC team that supports the development and delivery of our artistic programming. This is a singular opportunity for a student to gain valuable professional experience in a significant and very active arts and heritage organization. This position will afford the candidate to expand their curatorial knowledge, acquire important professional expertise and understand first-hand the development of exhibition content in a public museum context.

Museum Services Associate
Summer 2017

General Description
The Museum Services Associate will actively participate in all aspects of visitor services that enhance the Museum experience for our visitors and capacity building for our volunteers. In addition to providing exceptional customer service to visitors and volunteers, the student will support and participate in marketing and social media activities, special event planning and fundraising initiatives, health and safety training activities, public programming and outreach.
