I am almost packed. My flight leaves ORD at 8:45am; I arrive in Philadelphia at 11:45am. I plan to dash to my hotel, dump my luggage, then go immediately to the conference headquarters so I can try to jump on a "continuous shuttle bus tour #2" to catch as many galleries & exhibits as I can. I want to see the student show & Magic Gardens (that was an amazing doc - mosaic artist Isaiah Zagar) There is a show co-hosted by the Tile Heritage Foundation (they are fantastically good people) There are a total of 4 different tour routes - lots of galleries & exhibits. The keynote address tomorrow nite will be given by Terry Gross (Fresh Air) of NPR. I will take photos & report in tomorrow nite...
