Search Engines Have No Vision - SEO for 2.0 sites like Crafthaus.

Images on the Internet can not speak for themselves because search engines can NOT see images, they only read text.

Braille Images must have text titles and descriptions for search engines to match your images with  search queries. If you want your images to be found, they need titles, and descriptions.

Search_engines TEST THIS RIGHT NOW. OPEN A NEW WINDOW and do an image search for your art or craft. What do you see? Look at the image results and try to figure out where the images were found and why?

It is very difficult to get images posted on 2.0 social networking sites like Crafthaus to show up in a search for images. If you don't add titles, and/or descriptions for your images, the only way your images will be seen is if a person is looking at your page.

No curator, writer, gallery owner, store, client, or future customer will find your images by good fortune, or lady luck without search engines.

Don't miss every opportunity to help search engines "find" your images.

Read the entire post Search Engines Have No Vision - SEO for 2.0 sites. on ASK Harriete for the easy steps you can take to improve your changes that the  images of your art or craft  will be found.
