A while back, a friend of mine in Italy found an old car engine in a river. It had been there some time and was very corroded:


He sent me these bits from it:


And today, I finally started work on a piece using them:


They will be set, left to right, with a demantoid garnet, a tsavorite garnet and a brown diamond.
