Anne, Your enamels are looking great! I am doing well down here, in my final year, so excited to get done and back out into the world! I am thinking about doing Three Rivers this coming year, how about you?
Well, Anne, it is always good to be able to know that you are doing something interesting and different, as you are. It doesn't matter if you don't have the skills to do everything that everyone else (on Crafthaus) can do; neither do I! (Especially enamelling.)
Thanks for the kind comments. It is always lovely to see work so very different from my own. I almost never use enamels as I don't have the skill-set or the patience and what you are doing is quite unique.
I haven't totally abandoned metalsmithing, but I was just diagnosed with a life-altering illness that doesn't allow me to use my hands in the same way. I have always done work with paper and 2-D mixed media pieces and right now that is still feasible. However, I would like to explore some other materials as well. I guess we'll see what happens.
Thanks for the comment! I am also a big fan of your work. I was originally a metalsmith and can truly appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into your pieces - absolutely beautiful!
Thank you, Anne! And congratulations on getting into Art Jewelry 3! Your work is beautiful... I am a collector of brooches and I wonder how can one order one of your brooches. -:) Sophia
Hon, that's not bragging - that's well deserved recognition !! Oh, and our roommate, the lovely Michelle ALSO got into Art Jewelry 3. Something to celebrate with a fruity little drink with an umbrella in it !! You two will be so famous, in a few years, I will be able to say .... "I knew them when (sniff)" :-))
Congrats my dear. Your work is beautiful. Much success !! See ya soon.
be sure to visit my friend Lisa Colby, she has a booth too. her work is beautiful, and she is a doll. Clayton was tough, really, keep trying. we can talk more about that later. when you go to Seattle, be sure to stop in to Facere Jewelry Gallery, they are fabulous!!!!!!

Heya Anne! Thanks for the add and for the comment on my barnacle brooch! I'm actually working on a larger piece along a similar theme right now.
Love the color in your pieces, particularly in "prison cell series: it's all perspective". Great work!
Hi Anne,
Congrats on becoming treasurer of SNAG!

Thanks for your note. My studio is accumulating mess, projects, color and materials- - as the ideas begin to flow.
Keep making,
Alice
Anne, no mystery! While I was responding to your previous comment, I saw Brigitte's congratulations below.
