Thanks for the add Harriete - I'm pleased that you see Australia in my work - I try to express place directly or indirectly in most of my work - using the ideas of ecoregionalism and landscape memoir. Thanks again
Ross
There is a upcoming show that is looking for crafters at the Olive Hyde Art Gallery in Fremont, I will be part of this show and the curator, Gloria Kim ask me if I knew of any other crafters. She is at kimglo@gmail.com
Thank you for your interest in my work. I'm a long time admirer of your creativity and support in the community of metalsmiths. Like you I look for messages to insert into the design and aesthetic of my work to stretch the concept of 'wearable art' into a more meaningful and thoughtful realms.
I welcome any observations or comments. More of my work is online at: www.noelleicht.com.
thank you harriete. your work is truly wonderful: full of colour and with such a good message! i've worked with recycled tin quite a bit, the many very sharp edges make it a very difficult material to work with but hey... who doesn't love a challenge?! thank you for adding me as a friend. carolina
Hi Harriete. Thank you for adding me to your friends list. I admire your work for years. Its good to see our "Recycling Community" grow more and more. Trash to Treasure rulez! :-)

Hi Harriete,
Thank you for the crafthaus welcome, I was lucky enough to take a workshop from you a few years back at Boise State University.

Hi Harriet,
Your teapots knocked my checkerboard socks off!
Every one made me smile and WANT, WANT, WANT- -
in direct contradiction to your artist statement!
Great imagination and eye for materials, color and design,
and, I assume, a sense of humor along with it all!

Thanks for the add. No I am not a student of Marjorie Schick, but I enjoy her work and I did go to school at SIUE with some of her students.
