Thank you! The syringe fully functions and the finger extends to poke whoever you're interacting with. I made it with the intentions of being a socialization 'prosthesis'. I love to create work that will peek people's curiosity, thank you for sharing yours :]
Hope you are home and rested from all your travels!!! Was great to meet you at the Smithsonian show and actually touch your jewelry...Thanks for sharing your artistic vision and discussing your work, it's just wonderful!!!
Perhaps I should have taken before and after photos from my studio... I probably cleaned too much. It was a nice visit. I wish I had been able to actually get in my studio and create for a few weeks prior to her visit. Unfortunately, my head wasn't in my work. The draw back of academia life. Congratulations to you on getting in to the Smithsonian show and good luck making work for the show. I hope it is a success!

"Thanks for sharing that, Poppy! I hadn't quite appreciated the scale of your pieces! Did you get any photographs of Chris Boland's pieces, which I also love."
They like their fountains in Sheffield. The first thing that greets you on leaving the railway station is a wonderful cascade of water.
