Miel. It was such an excellent weekend. I'm really glad we got to spend a little down time last Sunday after the workshop. I've been itching to make some ball sockets and do some chasing and repousse. Hope our paths cross again soon.
miel!!! very cool that you are exhibiting in the Connect show - and that job at laika sounds soooooo fun! i am coming to portland in august and i'm gonna look you up. all is well here and i hope the same is true for you!
Thank you -- I am such a big fan of your work as well! I remember being blown away by "Deliberate" when I first saw it (I think on the SNAG Scholarship postcard?), and the "Gnaw" series is creepy and fascinating, with its notes of Victoriana and taxidermy. I would love to chat with you sometime about those and other pieces...
When you get a chance, you may want to take a look at Chihiro Makio's work here on crafthaus. She has a pretty awesome teapot on her page as well. Just click on the MEMBERS link and type in her name in the search box ...
Thanks for posting these images of your phantastic work !
Welcome to crafthaus ! I am very glad you joined us.
Please add a few images of your work and your thoughts to the blog/discussion topics that are already posted. Of course, if there is something else you'd much rather talk about, please add that to the site so that the rest of us can chime in.
I really hope you will enjoy being with this network and find the exchanges interesting and fun. The more you put into it, the more you will get out of it, for sure.
If there are ever any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to email me anytime. I will do my best to be of help.
Again: Welcome !
