Hello Francesa-
I just came across paperclay at a hobby shop and decided to try it out. It isn't one that needs firing. There are many different kinds, including ones that need fired, but many that don't. I haven't yet tried to make my own, but would like to try! I enjoy your work as well!

"Hi John. I love your flute. I worked at a job for 23 years making keys and the metal parts for contrabassoons. Unfortunately, there was no creativity involved. The upside is that I learned a huge amount about working with metal and making tools."
"It is a good article. It's a bit disappointing that the 3 artists they interview are men when it was so obvious that 90% of the Trunk Show exhibitors were women. I'd like to do a blog or two on the influence of women in the arts and how it…"
"Hi Rebecca. I have had probably a 50% success rate entering juried exhibitions, which I think is actually pretty good. I don't do shows where you go and peddle your wares from a booth. The exhibitions I've been in are held in art museums…"
"Interesting conference - I learned a lot. My favorite presentations were historical - one on innovations in tool capabilities since antiquity and the resulting impacts on jewelry, another on the development of manufacturing equipment for the jewelry…"

Hi Francesca,
I'm curating an online exhibition called "Piece Progressions" and would love for you to be a part of it. I think your varied materials and lovely final pieces would add something really unique. You can see details of the exhibition here: http://crafthaus.ning.com/group/crafthausexhibition/forum/topics/call-for-entries-piece?xg_source=msg_mes_network
If you have any questions feel free to contact me; it would be great to have you as part of the exhibition!

A show at Crafthaus has more of an audience then a gallery and offers a permanent stage to the world. We do love gallery shows, but at Crafthaus submission is easy, doesn't cost anything. We try to make the submission process as painless as possible! If you have any questions please let us know. Glen & Marie
