Thanks Brigitte! Glad to be here (it's been one of those things I've been meaning to do for a while - sorry for the delay!) Looking forward to exploring the site :)
Thanks Brigitte...and thank you for the great advice, you are right I am wanting to wake up at 6am to get to work (which is now fun)...you are a wise women...
Hello Brigitte! I hope this email finds you doing splendidly!
I'm wondering if you would entertain a call regarding the content of my fourth book (second with Lark Jewelry & Beading), (working title) WiredTogether. WT is a compilation of wearable jewelry works between myself and over 30 artist collaborators. Lark (Sterling) has just notified me of their intention to cancel the book.
The good news is that much of the content is complete; the better news is that I have some really, really wonderful pieces by the likes of Charles Lewton-Brain, Lorena Angelo, and Ken Bova, to name a few.
I'd love to investigate a possible partnership between myself and my collaborators with Crafthaus. Would you care to dance?
Hi Brigitte, I am wanting to publicize a call for work at the Appalachian Center for Craft (deadline is very soon March 31) The call is for a solo or group show... More information can be found at http://www.tntech.edu/craftcenter/exhibitions/
NCECA 2013 Emerging Artist Linda Swanson makes us think about ceramic materials in a new and dynamic way. Her installation, site specific, fired and unfired work all has an emphasis on time, material and transformation. Linda generously shared her time and thoughts with me about her current studio practice and the path that has led her there. I hope you enjoy this interview with Linda Swanson. You can see more of her work at: …See More
