hi brigitte,
thanks for your efforts on this wonderful site. it's really great to have a point of connection to other artists/designers. i am thrilled to be a featured artist....
Thank you so much! How does everyone know! I found out because some one congradulated me before I checked my email! The grape vine is a thick powerful beast these days! haha :)
I'll be in the Design hall (C2 stand 614 gang f) under the London Jewellery Exports banner. (I'm not usually that organised, I just happened to have the piece of paper on my desk)
Thanks Brigitte! I'm having palpitations now that I've said yes, but life's too short etc.
Let me know if you'll be there this year. I'd love to see you.

I have not used polyester resin (have you?)...just the epoxy kind. I know I have a lot more experimenting to do. I've tried all the "run of the mill" stuff like: mica, foil, acrylic paint, nail polish,...not eye shadow...must try that one. I think I will have to try the pigments as well...I wonder if vitreous enamel pigments will work??? I will have to try that too!! I'll keep you posted.
Chow,
Aim:-)
A resin group...that would be great! I hate to stike my thoughts "out there"...I'm sure there is an easy solution that I have not thought of. I have one more idea that I need to look into. My basic problem is...I want to have a more modern and soft end result. Colors that are muted...blended. I've tried acrylic paint, pearl. mica, nail polish and a few other additives. Resin artists usually comment that they "hand dye their resin with pigments"...so what are these elusive, secret pigments? I mean really...why re-invent the wheel??? But I guess I will! Must go now...deadlines you know! Will chat later!
