Thank you! The discs are made of a frosted drafting film (Mylar) and a clear acetate, with small sections of silver tubing holding them in place on the cable.
Thanks! I appreciate that. Yes, I did go to undergrad at BG. I'm going to grad school now at Indiana University, Bloomington and am getting ready to mount my thesis show at the end of April. That's really nice of Charon.
Hey Donald,
Our meting at SNAG was too short. It was a great conference. I hope you enjoyed yourself. I'm looking forward to next year for sure. Take care.
Hello Donald,
Thanks for your contact. I am certainly attending the conference. I think crafthaus will be having a gathering for all to meet up. Besides that I'm sure we will find each other at some point. It's shaping up to be a great event. I can't wait.
Cheers,
Anthony
Donald, It was a lot of years ago, don't remember just when. The girl
was in to some strange thing where they screamed and beat pillows.
She was in US later making large enamel vases, as I remember. Haven't
seen her work for many years. Rachel Not even sure what country, we
traveled a lot. You look so young.
Donald, Is it possible that you are the same Donald Friedich I met in
in Europe many years ago. If so you were a friend of a German enamellist, who's name I have forgotten. You were working in Glass.

I only have the Blender files - not Rhino NURBS files.
So what I can do is send you the mesh files as OBJ format
and you can load them into Rhino and create the CNC molds
to your need.
Which shapes would you like again? We did quite many.
I would send you the files than via an online transfer service.

"John. I am sorry I did not meet you. My fault. I had a massively congested head and was floating around in a bit of a haze from it. I may have some thoughts on your thoughts if I can gather them. glad your writing them…"
"I agree 100% Brigitte. It is more work than most attendees will ever know to put together a conference like this and I, too, raise a toast of HEAR HEAR! to all involved. It was a great conference.
I hope I will be able to help SNAG with whatever…"
"While, I'm offering some responses and feelings about the conference, it in no way diminishes the overall view that I really enjoyed it and thought it very worthwhile. All of the presentations and exhibits were valuable and help create a…"
"Regarding whether or not Toronto was a "good conference", I do respectfully disagree with Harriete. This was my 6th conference (Cleveland, Philly, Houston, Seattle, Phoenix, Toronto) and while I liked them all for different reasons, I…"
"Just to respond to a few sentences in this particular post: John said, "At the SNAG conference almost everyone had a college degree in the arts." Actually I think you might be surprised at the number of people at the Conference and…"
"I'm with you, Emanuela. But let me respond from the perspective of the people I talked with: the talent lies in who and how you use the technology.
I guess time will prove or disprove this. In the meantime, I'm much more content to feel…"
I come from a very different background than most at the conference. I apprenticed with a self taught flutemaker. After 3 years, the only CV I left with was a flute I made that got me hired by a Boston company. I designed my own flute from experience and imagination. To this day my work has always been my only resume. At the SNAG conference almost everyone had a college degree in the arts. Whenever a speaker was introduced, their education highlights were listed along with the schools they were…See More

I went to your lecture at BGSU last year. It's funny, I was talking about your magnification pieces today with some students. Great work!

I just came back today to finally update my online Portfolio here
and saw you as well being a member.
And of course do I have ALL files we two worked on.
I may not have any Rhino files Phill might have
created for the CNC machine.
But those files can be easily re-created.
