His idea - centered around the fact that car have become increasingly more complicated over the years, and today's customers don't always understand that - was the starting point for this piece.<br /> <br /> The piece measures 15" x 28" x 12", and is powered by two AC gearmotors - one to run the 'engine' and one to run the mechanism.<br /> <br /> Hand-sculpted polymer clay heads, hand-carved basswood bodies, with handmade clothes.<br /> The engine and various other pieces are constructed from found objects. The vehicle, completely scratch-built from basswood, incorporates RC car hubs and hand-formed plexiglas windows.<br /> Handmade base with scratch-built mechanisms.
