Post by Mark Fenn

I am writing to introduce myself to you and the Narrative Jewellery book project I am undertaking.

I am approaching Narrative Jewellers whose work is inspired or informed by the narrative, to ask if they would like to have their work included in the book I am writing. I have a publisher and the book will be distributed worldwide.

If selected for the book you will need to sign a Release Form for images submitted.

There is no cost to be included in the book, just a little of your time.

Here are links to the Crafthaus online exhibition (2 parts):

The book will have a foreword by Professor Jack Cunningham and will include images his work, as well as two essays by Dauvit Alexander and Jo Pond, also with images of their work.

At this time I have over 200 other makers signed on for the book, among them luminaries as

Professor Keith Lewis (USA)
Arthur Hash (USA)
Ruudt Peters (Netherlands)
Ted Noten (Netherlands)

If you know of any other narrative makers that I could approach that would be of great help.

If you are interested in having your work in the book please e-mail me at

mark@markfenn.co.uk

with Tales from the toolbox – Crafthaus  in the Subject line (this will help me identify new makers) by June 1, 2016 (deadline)

Please Note: do not send any images or text at this time. I’m just wanting to have makers express their interest in taking part.

I look forward to hearing back for you

With best wishes and kind regards, Mark
