Venessa Hogge - efflorescent flowers

Vanessa Hogge is inspired by all things botanical. She creates dahlias, chrysanthemums, dashes, hydrangeas and daphne in pristine white porcelain and black clay. Her compositions are efflorescent in that they “flower out” as though they were blooms from an internally held salt in water. Hogge’s work demonstrates the wonderful beauty that can be achieved using all white or all black in a piece of work.
