Great comment Gail L. about 'one metal clay society'. We would need a helmswoman/helmsman. Whew!

And... happy to have my work in the Annual. Thank so much to the jurors for valuing my pieces. I have been so impressed with the increasing quality of the work each year. What an amazing bunch of makers we all are.

And now... can't wait to see Part Two of the Powdered Alchemy show and the catalogue. Champing at the bit for that.

And more good news is that I will have a new book out this Summer (if all goes well). Not a tech book. More later.

Big congrats to those that are in the annual!! Surprised about the guild....but remember...when one door closes, another one usually opens. It's time for one metal clay society.

Yes, it's been a day of good news and bad news. I guess this will be the final Guild Annual too - that's a great shame as the standard of the work is incredible this year. Very well done to all the great artists who got in.

I was very sad to get the notice today that the PMC Guild will be folding after the 2012 Conference.  The Guild has been a great leader in educating people about metal clay and bringing it to the attention of the art world.  It will be missed!

Those who were accepted into the Annual received a proof of the catalog to check for accuracy.  I believe the Guild will be posting a list later today.
