Everyone - Let's move all this good discussion about copper into this discussion thread so it all stays together. Thanks

Barbara and Hattie, thanks for this wonderful initiative!
The thanks actually goes to Barbara for coming up with the proposal and creating a slideshow to take with her and Hattie. All I did was burn a disk...and then mail it to the wrong address. :-)
I did not saw it either ;o). Crafthaus sent an email with some news and this was there !!! Thanks to you and Susan for doing this for all of us and for the metal clay community !!!
Lorena - thanks for putting a note about the Japan exhibition on this thread. Susan has posted it around but I'm not sure anyone is seeing it as y'all are awfully quiet about it! :-) We sent a CD with all of your images on it to Barbara Becker Simon to take with her to Japan. Here is her message to us regarding how it will be used. CONGRATULATIONS to YOU!!
Hattie Sanderson and I (Barbara Simon) have been invited to give presentations at the PMC Guild Of Japan Annual Conference in Kyoto, September 23-25. The conference goers are very eager to see what the American metalclay artists have been doing both in pictures and in actual examples. What better way to show the latest work than the beautifully curated Powdered Metallurgy Exhibit. I am hoping that the images will be able to be displayed on a loop, visible to all, on an ongoing basis.
WOW what an honour for all of us:)
The New Directions exhibition is also going to be shown during the PMC Guild Japan Conference. ;o)
Thank you for sharing, Christine!
Thanks for sharing Christine! ;^>
The New Directions catalog was featured on Rio Grande's blog on August 31. Be sure to check it out - a terrific review of YOU, the artists! :-)
